Communication has always been an integral part of my life.
Growing up in a family of seven taught me to appreciate the impact and joy that conversation can bring. My family loves to create our own unique songs and sing them together – these are such special moments that I cherish, and I can’t picture the thought of missing out on them.
When my grandmother became very ill, I moved home to New Jersey to become her primary caretaker. I found myself cherishing every small conversation and laugh that we shared together, and again thought of all the people who might miss out on these special moments if they were unable to hear them. This is why I became an audiologist.
My passion is to help others regain their hearing and make sure that they don’t have to miss out on these small, intimate moments with their own families ever again.
