Dr. Rhee and the Hearing Doctors of New Jersey team joined the Alzheimer’s Association at Kean University for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The day showed what a community can do when it comes together for a common cause. As an audiologist and advocate for brain health, Dr. Rhee believes that until there is a cure, we must focus on what we can do to reduce the risk of cognitive decline. Hearing loss is one of the leading modifiable risk factors for dementia, so protecting your hearing also helps protect your brain, your independence, and your quality of life. Thank you to Katy Lido, Paul Irwin-Dudek, Maeghan Scott, Rich Lanning, and Kathy Hinton for their leadership. Thank you also to everyone who walked, volunteered, and donated.
