Hearing Doctors of New Jersey Presents “Healthy Brain” at the Fanwood Senior Center

Dr. Rhee was joined by Paul Irwin-Dudek of the Alzheimer’s Association to present “Healthy Brain” to a full room at the Fanwood Senior Center. Paul shared updates on Alzheimer’s diagnosis and treatment, including blood-based biomarkers and New Jersey’s expanded insurance coverage for certain biomarker testing. Dr. Rhee focused on prevention. Hearing loss is one of the leading modifiable risk factors for dementia, and research shows measurable changes in the brain as soon as two weeks after a hearing-aid fitting. Thank you to Paul, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Fanwood Senior Center for having us. Join us this Saturday, October 10, at Kean University for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s!
